Managing Committee:
The Managing Committee of the Thompson Women’s Training Institute, Cuttack is under the Diocese of Cuttack, Chuch of north India. The Diocese of Cuttack is one of the Dioceses of the Church of North India which was constituted by the Union, consummated on the 29th of November’ 1970 at Nagpur by the merger of the six major Protestant Churches in North India. Prior to the formation of the Church of North India, the constituent body of the Baptist Missionary Society in India managed the Churches and Institutions in Orissa belonging to the Mission Fields of the Baptist Missionary Society.
The Baptist Church Trust association was the property-holding body of these Churches and Institutions. After the merger of the Baptist Churches of North India, especially of the BMS origin into the Church of North India in the year 1970, all the Churches and came under the management of the Diocese of Cuttack, Church of North India.
The Diocese gives top priority to evangelistic outreach programme and community development work. The ministry of the Diocese includes continuous programmes of evangelism, quality education and training in different fields.
