• Hostel facilities are available in the Thompson Women’s training institute to trainees who are taking D.El.Ed. training here.
  • All are required to work & eat together without any distinction of caste or creed.
  • No special food is provided except in case of illness, if specified by the Medical Officer, but Boarders may register as vegetarian or non-vegetation.
  • Adequate and nutritious diet is provided.
  • Special attention is paid to discipline and hygiene.
  • There are qualified Boarding staffs to look after the welfare of the boarders.
  • Sick boarders are attended and medically treated.
  • All boarders must comply with School rule and regulations. The Boarding fee covers general attention and First Aid medicines. Any special treatment will be notified and charges separately.
  • Boarders are not allowed to leave the campus without permission of the Headmistress or in his absence the person in authority. In either case the Warden must duly forward it.
  • 24 hours water is provided for drinking and other purposes.
  • Parents are allowed take the boarders (trainees) for a short period on specified holidays. It should be remembered that frequent excursion of this kind is not in the best interest of the child.
  • Parents are permitted to visit boarders only on every Wednesday and Saturday from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. and not to enter the hostel premises without permission. Parents may contact over telephone between 9 P.M. to 10 P.M. (if necessary).
  • Efforts are made to build up proper atmosphere for games, study and cultural activities.
  • Every boarder is taught how to become self-reliant.
  • Headmistress/Hostel Superintendent reserves the right to expel an indisciplined boarder without notice.
  • T.V. is provided to the hostellers to enjoy their leisure hour.
  • Daily Oriya & English Newspapers are available for the hostellers.
  • The Establishment Fees to be deposited for one year at a time in case the boarder leaves the hostel at her will the Establishment Fees will not be refunded.
